Caerphilly CBC are seeking views on the proposed Strategic Equality Plan
Caerphilly County Borough Council are seeking views on the proposed Strategic Equality Plan 2024-2028.

The draft Strategic Equality Plan has been developed to demonstrate the Council's commitment to ensuring that the Council remains an inclusive place to live, work and visit.

The Strategic Equality Plan 2024-2028 includes 7 equality objectives that outline how Caerphilly County Borough Council intends to deliver its equalities commitments, whilst continuing to be an inclusive organisation that does not tolerate discrimination.

This consultation aims to seek the views on the proposed Equality Objectives outlined within the draft Plan, and to identify key actions for delivering these objectives moving forward.

To have your say, you can complete the survey online using this link.

The survey can also be printed and returned in the post to: Caerphilly County Borough Council, Equalities and Welsh Language Team, Penallta House, Tredomen Park, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed. CF82 7PG.

You can also request a paper version of the survey by e-mailing equalities@caerphilly.gov.uk or calling 01443 864404 / 01443 864353.  Hard copies can also be found at your nearest CCBC library.

The deadline for this survey is 1st December 2024.

A summary of the results will be published in April 2024, alongside the Strategic Equality Plan 2024-2028, following Cabinet and Full Council approval.
