CCBC and UK Steel Enterprise deliver Caerphilly Business Start-Up Grant
Posted on : 23 Nov 2023
A flexible ‘Caerphilly Business Start-Up Grant’ scheme is being delivered through a partnership with UK Steel Enterprise and Caerphilly County Borough Council. The grant is designed to help residents of Caerphilly County Borough set up a full-time business for the first time, who are not able to access any other sources of funding.
The Caerphilly Business Start-Up Grant provides financial support to help eligible new businesses develop and grow.
Business start-ups across all business sectors may be considered for the grant, as long as the business is being set up within Caerphilly County Borough.
It is a discretionary grant and can provide up to 50% of eligible project costs to a maximum of £500.
This project is funded by UK Steel Enterprise. UK Steel Enterprise Ltd (UKSE) is the wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel tasked with the responsibility of helping the economic regeneration of communities affected by changes in the steel industry. UKSE work in steel areas across the UK assisting job and wealth creation by supporting small and medium enterprises with finance and premises.
Award of the grant is entirely at the discretion of Caerphilly County Borough Council.
