Wacky Worm Charming returns to Waunfawr Park

Saturday 30th May from 11am - 5pm sees the return of the GreenPark Festival 2009 to Waunfawr Park, Crosskeys.  The event is jointly organized by Crosskeys and Pontywaun Community Partnership, Caerphilly County Borough Council and local charity Groundwork Caerphilly.  The event will provide a fun filled day for all the family, whilst raising awareness of the local environmental opportunities.

Worm Charming, Welly Whanging, and Tug of War from the events arena throughout the day.  Scale new heights on the climbing wall, make some noise with Community Music Wales or become Ray Mears under the canopy of Waunfawr with Dryad Bushcraft.  Once you've exhausted your energies relax with some Tai Chi or simply pot a plant or two whilst having a cuppa in the forest school area. 

Entertainment goes on into the night with Dave's Bat Moth and Owl viewing session.  

There is plenty to see and do throughout the day and so if becoming the Welsh Worm charming champion of Wales is your thing, don't miss the GreenPark Festival 2009.
