Community safety

	Community Safety (Partnership and Support) Team We ensure that Community Safety is integral to the work of the Council. The team drives and leads the partnership work under the Safer Caerphilly strand of the Caerphilly Delivers Single Integrated Plan and co-ordinating staff who manage partnership work and funding.
	CCTV Control Room The CCTV Control Room operates and monitors 144 public CCTV cameras and a further 82 alarm activated sites including schools, civic amenity sites and council buildings. The Control Room provides the out of hours emergency contact service for the Council.
	Community Safety Wardens Wardens provide a high profile, reassuring, uniformed presence in our communities, addressing anti-social and nuisance behaviour and act as the "eyes and ears" of our communities.
