The Flower Festival is now in its 8th year. Commencing in 2006 the event has developed into one of Caerphilly County Borough Council's annual events, forming an important date in the calendar for the town centre, its churches and societies.
The event is free and comprises of a core group of churches, located around the town centre, which have joined forces to provide a fantastic flower festival event for visitors. Hop on the open top bus and have a tour around the town, hopping off at each venue to view the impressive displays.
The churches, which circle the central event site at the Twyn Car Park in Caerphilly town centre are accessible via an open top bus which offers visitors a birds eye view of the area including the popular historic monument, Caerphilly Castle. The hop on hop off service has proved a real hit with people over the years and now forms an attraction in itself.
