There is a range of funding support for eligible businesses located in, or locating to, Caerphilly county borough. These include the SE Wales Local Investment Fund and the Budding Business Grant.
The whole of Caerphilly county borough is within an Assisted Area, which means that the locality has the potential to attract the highest levels of grant aid. European Objective 1 funding came to an end in 2007. A new funding programme called the Convergence Programme will operate until 2013. Again the remit of the funding will be to continue the programme of economic regeneration through raising the GDP in the region.
All funding is discretionary and eligibility criteria will apply.
