Welcome to the Building Control website. These pages have been designed as a basic guide to our Building Control service, Building Regulations and how they work. The law governing building control can be somewhat complicated and for this reason, we have made a conscious effort to make these pages as simplistic as possible.

Building regulations - financial statement 2010/11
Local Authorities are required by The Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010 to publish an annual financial statement relating to their Building Regulations Chargeable and Non-Chargeable Account.
