Adult and community learning in Caerphilly county borough is huge and exceptionally varied in what it offers to the general public. From computer courses to pottery classes, there's an opportunity out there for anyone who wants to continue to learn, whatever your age, ability, or interest.

Part-time tutors neededCaerphilly County Borough Council in partnership with Monmouthshire County Council, Torfaen County Council, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council and Newport City Council are interested in meeting anyone who may be interested in a part time tutor role.
We are always looking for tutors of new subjects as well as subjects currently being delivered. Subjects include Arts and Crafts, Basic Skills (qualified or working towards to level 3) ICT, Independent Living Skills, Modern Foreign Languages, Welsh and General Education (GCSE's, Teaching Assistants and Book Keeping). Courses are normally two hours per week and delivered during the daytime and evening.

Please also indicate if you will be attending the information evening on Thursday 6th June 2013 at Pontypool Community Education Centre, Trosnant Street, Pontypool, Torfaen NP4 8AT commencing at 6.30pm.You will have an opportunity to meet representatives from the different authorities as well as have an overview of the Adult Education Service and the work involved in becoming an Adult Education Tutor.
