If you have an item on loan from the library and would like to renew the loan, you can do this provided that it has not been reserved by someone else.
You can renew an item in person during one of your visits or by calling your local library. Also, if you are a member of the library you can renew an item online.
To renew an item online you will need to log into your account using your library card number and password. If you have not asked for a password, the default is set to your date of birth using the format dd/mm/yyyy.
You can renew books up to 5 times before we need to see them. If an item is requested for another customer or cannot be renewed for any reason you will not be able to select it and we request you return the item to your local library at your earliest convenience.
DVDs, Music and games cannot be renewed this way. If you wish to renew them call your local library.
Alternatively, you can renew your items in person during your next visit or by calling your local library.
Remember, if you don't return or renew your books on time, you will need to pay a library charge.
