Caerphilly county borough has a substantial portfolio of business property and sites to suit all business needs. Properties range from starter units to 200,000 sq. ft. (18,580 sq. m) with very favourable rental levels compared with other locations near to the M4.
Since 2000, the council has recognised the need to broaden their property portfolio and provide business accommodation suited to todays' new technologies. The first Business and Technology Centre was constructed on Tredomen Park. This has been followed by further office and technology centres on both Tredomen and Oakdale Business Park.
The strategic employment sites lie along the A472 Development corridor and since 1996 the Caerphilly County Borough Council has brought forward over 200 acres (80.9 h.a.) of land for development, including the 170 acre (69.6 h.a.) Oakdale Business Park.

The council maintains their commitment to help entrepreneurs and enterprises located in the county borough to grow and develop into successful businesses. Developing the infrastructure is also a key driver for economic growth - ensuring that goods, services and people can move freely into and out of the county borough.
