If you are not able to find your street, please call Public Services on 01443 866533.
Bank holiday arrangements
Waste collection arrangements are not affected by bank holidays and your refuse and recycling will be collected as normal.
Adverse weather
During times of adverse weather there may be some disruption to service due to access problems for our vehicles. If the service is disrupted at these times please be patient as we will normally catch up by the end of the week. Where these conditions persist for more than a week, and/or we are unable to collect that week, we will advise residents of alternative arrangements via the council website. For further advice, please contact Public Services on 01443 866533.
Reporting missed collections
We will arrange for your missed bin to be collected if:
- Your bin was available at the collection point by 6am on the day of collection
- Your bin does not contain any material that should not be in there
- Your bin has not been overloaded and the lid is fully closed (* Please see additional advice below)
- Any obstruction to the road or street that may have prevented access by the collection vehicle has now been removed
* Please Note: Due to the introduction of weekly recycling and food waste collection, we will no longer collect any additional side waste that will not fit into your refuse bin with the lid closed flat. When your refuse bin has been emptied, any excess waste will be put back into the bin and a sticker attached to the lid. Please do not report this as a missed collection as we will not collect this waste until your next collection in two weeks time.
You can report a missed collection in one of the following ways:
