Children playing at the park

There are many children in the county borough looking for 'Forever families'.

Here are just a few examples: -

Robert is 6 and his brother Daniel is 5. They have both been living together with the same foster carer for 4 years. Robert is a bright young boy, who is active and enjoys the outdoors. Robert loves travelling on the train and visiting museums. Robert has been diagnosed with Aspergers, he responds well to firm routines and boundaries. Daniel is a loving and gentle little boy who likes his own company and is happiest when playing alone. Daniel needs constant reminders to use the toilet, and he still wears 'pull-ups' at night. Both Robert and Daniel do have some developmental difficulties, and we are looking for adopters that can cope with these uncertainties.

Alice is 8 months old and has been in foster care since birth. She is a very happy baby and a delight to care for. Alice is displaying signs of suffering from Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and there is some uncertainty regarding the impact of her antenatal history of substance misuse.

Sam is 9 and has a happy, cheerful and engaging personality. Sam loves animals and would like to live in a home where he could have a pet. Sam enjoys the outdoors and loves to ride his bike and going to the seaside. His favourite TV programme is Ben 10. Sam enjoys most foods, especially lasagne. Sam is doing well in school and enjoys reading and maths.
