Caerphilly County Borough Council is the 5th largest local authority in Wales and employs around 9,000 people making it the largest employer in the area and 10th largest in Wales.
We deliver a wide range of services to the 170,000 people living in the county borough including education, environmental services, social services, finance, highways, leisure services and consumer protection.
The Corporate Management Team led by the Chief Executive and four directors undertakes the day-to-day operation of council business. The Council operates a cabinet style of local government, led by a Leader of Council who is supported by eight cabinet members.
