The council most recently consulted on Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG), LDP12: Shop Fronts and Advertisements to support the policies contained within the Adopted Local Development Plan. The purpose of LDP12 is to provide guidance on the design of shop fronts and advertisements in Caerphilly county borough. It is aimed at assisting all owners, designers and shop fitters in preparing proposals for creating, retaining or altering a shop front or a display sign on commercial premises. The council resolved to adopt LDP12 as SPG on Tuesday 13 March 2012.
