Census 2001 ward profiles

Caerphilly is comprised of 33 wards. We have developed an area profile for each ward with data extracted from the 2001 Census.

Accessing a ward will give you a short summary of the areas key points. Each ward contains the following thematic tables: Population by age, ethnic group, marital status, health and provision of unpaid care, economic activity, economic inactivity, hours worked, industry and employment, occupation, qualifications, travel to work, car/van ownership, household space and accomodation type, household tenure, household composition, and knowledge of Welsh.

Profiles are also provided for the whole of Caerphilly county borough and Wales.
