The Business Enterprise Support Team has a range of business support packages to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship. The team run a series of events throughout the county borough, taking their support packages directly to businesses.
The county borough of Caerphilly has an active Business Forum, which is the leading business networking organisation in the county borough. The Caerphilly Business Forum events programme culminates in their Annual Business Awards Ceremony now in its 11th very successful year.
To help local retailers, a number of high profile events are run in the town centres and these include food and craft markets, where local suppliers are encouraged to sell their products.

Caerphilly County Borough Council's Town Centre Management Team is facilitating a series of 'Business Surgeries' run by Business Wales. The surgeries are opportunities for traders to meet with a Business Wales advisor and find out more about how the Welsh Government's new programme of business support can help them.
Traders can also to speak to representatives from Caerphilly County Borough Council's GO2 Team and Business Support Team about financial assistance that may be available to them.
The Business Wales programme provides an accessible way for the county borough's retailers to gain support in areas such a marketing, financial planning and HR. Business Wales can help businesses grow by offering one to one advice and information. A variety of services are available, and support areas which may benefit businesses include marketing, attracting new customers, online trading, recruiting staff through funded employment schemes, developing staff, reducing energy costs.
