There are several different methods of payment you can use:
Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. Payment can be arranged on the 5th, 15th or 25th of each month.
You can even arrange to pay by Direct Debit without the need to complete a paper form by calling 01443 866564.
This service is only available during office hours which is Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
You will need to hand, your bank account number, branch sort code and bank address. This information can be found in your cheque book.
Alternatively, there is a Direct Debit form which you can print off, fill in and return to us.

Online
You can pay bills securely online without the need to register an account or login.
We accept:
- Maestro UK
- MasterCard Credit (+2% card fee)
- MasterCard Debit
- Visa Credit (+2% card fee)
- Visa Debit (Delta, Electron)
By telephone
You can pay your bill 24 hours a day using our automated telephone payment service. Simply call 01443 863366. You will need your council tax number that can be found on your bill. If paying by credit card a charge of 2% will be made in addition to the payment.
By post
Payments must be by crossed cheque or postal order made payable to Caerphilly County Borough Council (post dated cheques are not acceptable). Please send your remittance together with your payment record card to:

Please remember to write your account reference number on the reverse of your cheque or postal order. Your payment record card will be returned to you. Please do not send cash in the post.
Online/telephone banking
To use a home banking service you will need the following details:
- Council tax account number shown on your bill
- Our bank account number 61211951
- Our sort code 08-92-94
- Our account name is "Caerphilly County Borough Council".
By visiting one of our offices
Payment can be made at any of the council's cash offices. Please bring your payment card with you.
