Operation Santa 2012
Operation Santa is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council and each year supports in the region of 700 local disadvantaged children.
Residents, businesses, schools and community groups, generously donate gifts in support of the Christmas appeal. Thousands of hampers and gifts are divided into categories, wrapped and delivered to families across the county borough by kind hearted volunteers.
The initiative has been running as a large scale operation for the past 6 years and continues to grow each year. The charity appeal supports those who are not helped by any other appeal and includes families working with Llamau, Action for Children, Home-Start and Gofal Cymru.
A grand total of 2,000 presents were donated.
