The Tredomen Business and Technology Centre, located on Tredomen Park is part funded from the European Union through the Welsh Government to provide high quality business accommodation suited to today's new technologies.
The Tredomen Business and Technology Centre comprises a two-storey building designed in 3 blocks. The central block has a business centre and core facilities, which includes the reception, meeting rooms, board/conference room, lift, stairs and toilets. The full height glazed atrium contains the main entrance, with access to all parts of the centre at both ground floor and at first floor level via a suspended walkway. The 2 further blocks contain 1,301 sq. m. of high quality space with selective intelligence card access control systems. Business tenants have the benefit of a centrally serviced reception area and access to a wide range of amenities such as meeting and conference room. The Centre has been designed to be fully accessible for people with disabilities.
The centre brings together the main local business support agencies to provide a more focused and complete support service for local firms. The centre also houses a fully integrated training facility in association with The College Ystrad Mynach and local businesses can benefit from the use of meeting and conference facilities. Business Enterprise Support Unit is located in the centre. They are joined by The College Ystrad Mynach and Venture Wales (the local enterprise agency). Other organisations including WAG also have a presence in the development.
This centre is on the Tredomen Park and is approximately 15 miles north of Junction 32 of the M4 via the A470 and A469. It has free on-site parking facilities and is within walking distance of Ystrad Mynach railway station and the local bus route. The centre also has the advantage of being fully accessible for disabled clients, with dedicated parking facilities and lifts to the first floor.
