St David's Pilgrim Trail
Children had the chance to win some fantastic prizes while exploring their local town centres in Bargoed, Blackwood, Caerphilly and Risca.
Ten facts about St. David were hidden in shops throughout the town centres. As the children find each fact, they simply write it down on the entry card where they found it. This is available to download below or from Bargoed Library, Blackwood Customer First Centre, Caerphilly Tourist Information Centre and Risca Library. Once they have found all 10 facts, they can submit their entry to the place where they collected the card.
We hope you will encourage your children to take part in this fun activity, which will teach them more about the Patron Saint of Wales and allow them to discover their local town centre.
