Adoption

Adoption

Welcome to our adoption webpages.

Adoption is a way of providing a new family for a child when it is not possible for them to live with their own families.

There are many children waiting for a new 'Forever Family' and, as you can imagine, most adopters would like to adopt a baby. However, there are children who are aged over 5, are part of a group of brothers and/or sisters, have some developmental uncertainties or disabilities and are waiting for their 'Forever Families'.

The adoption team at Caerphilly County Borough Council also offer services to anyone who has been affected by adoption, for example an adult who was adopted as a child or birth parents of a child who has been adopted.

If you'd like to receive more information, or perhaps to discuss your interest in adoption without any commitment whatever

Call us on 01443 864527.
