Council meetings - agendas, minutes and reports

In order to provide an open government, we make as much information available to the public as we can via the Internet. There are some instances where we may not be able to provide access to particular information for legal reasons or to protect sensitive information, but generally, most information is disclosed.

On this page you can carry out a document search of any of our committee meetings, including reports, minutes and agendas.

Document Search

  • Reports are documents that have been prepared for a meeting to consider a particular course of action or to provide an update. They should set out the reasons for any recommended course of action. Information will include legal advice, financial implications and other relevant issues.
  • Agendas are the documents that give those attending meetings prior notice of what is being discussed. Agendas will also give all the relevant details of when and where the meetings taking place and who attends. They will normally have reports attached.
  • Minutes are the formal record of what was decided at the meeting. They also tell you who was present at the meeting. When searching for the minutes of any Committee Meeting, you are advised to check that they were approved as a correct record at a subsequent meeting of that Committee.

For forthcoming committee meetings go to our Council meetings timetable page.
