All scrutiny committee meetings are held in public, which means that as members of the public, you have a right to attend. In exceptional cases, we may need to exclude members of the public and press when a committee is considering information considered as 'exempt' as defined by Article 6 of the Human Rights Act 1998 or 'confidential' in accordance with Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
Agendas and reports for scrutiny committees are publicly available. You can obtain of copy of agendas and reports by:
- Contacting the Scrutiny Support Unit. Please make your request at least 3 working days prior to the meeting
- Downloading them from this website using our Council agendas, minutes and reports facility
