"Public art is one of the county borough's great achievements in the arts..." (Caerphilly County Borough Arts Strategy).
Many towns and villages in Caerphilly County Borough feature eye-catching and imaginative pieces of public artwork, including sculptures, mosaics, murals and other original art. Public art provides visual interest within the urban/rural environment and helps stimulate a sense of local pride.
The council work creatively with local schools, communities, artists and arts based organisations such as the Arts Council for Wales to develop and produce artwork that enriches and reflects the history and culture of local communities across the county borough.
