Housing associations

Both the council and housing associations own and manage social rented housing throughout the county borough.

Social rented housing is housing where the rent is a level less than the full market rental value. Download our fact sheet below for further details.

Housing associations provide homes for rent to people with a housing need. Generally, people who are over 16 years of age and have a housing need are eligible to apply for re-housing by housing associations.

How to apply

If you wish to apply for social rented housing, you will need to contact each housing association directly. You can also ask us to nominate you to one or more of the associations that operate within Caerphilly.
