On 19 December see the streets come to life as hundreds of lanterns cascade through Caerphilly town centre accompanied by thunderous samba drumming, dancing, costumed performers, giant sculptures and lots more. This spectacular event climaxes with a fire show and fireworks display against the backdrop of the magnificent Caerphilly Castle. Starts at 6.30pm from Caerphilly railway station park and ride.
Lantern making workshops
From 10am - 5pm on 30 November and 1, 7 and 8 and 14 and 15 December, come to Caerphilly Leisure Centre and let your creative side take over. Make a wonderful lantern to carry in the parade. This activity is suitable for all ages offering some free family fun.
