Message from the Director

As the Corporate Director Social Services, with statutory responsibility for Social Services, I am pleased to present the third Annual Director's Report for Caerphilly County Borough Council's Directorate of Social Services.

In my report I have shown the progress that has been made over the past year, highlighted our strengths and identified our priorities for 2012-2013.

I hope my report, the accompanying DVD and the digital feedback stories on this webpage, demonstrates how the Directorate has helped service users and carers to achieve their full potential.

I am confident that the Social Services Directorate will continue to deliver efficient, effective and safe services to the residents of Caerphilly county borough.
