Hi my name is Ian Hughes the Fooball Development Officer for Caerphilly. I have a duel role where I support the local clubs and junior League (TERV). I am also Coach and Player Development Officer and cover the South Wales FA area.
Increasing participation is vital, making sure we give children the opportunity to fall in love with the game from an early age. I run a Coach Mentoring Programme in the area where coaches receive mentorship that will help develop their coaching abilities and support aspirational coaches in making the next step, thus having a positive impact on player development.
