The Community Rugby Development Officer aims to:

• Develop and coordinate Rugby football for those aged 8-21 in county borough but with a focus on those aged 12-16.
• Establish a firm foundation for increasing participation, promotion and sustainability of the development of the game of rugby in schools and clubs in the area.
• Create opportunities for coaches to gain further knowledge through a comprehensive coach education programme.
