School Sport Co-ordinators

To assist with the delivery of the Sport Wales Active Young People Programme within Primary and Secondary schools to increase participation levels of young people aged 7-18.

Principal Activities

  1. School Sport Co-ordinators will be able to work with the Sport Development Officers in marketing and promoting 5x60 activities in schools on a daily basis.
  2. School Sport Co-ordinators will be able to work alongside the Sport Development Officers in marketing and delivering the Dragon Sports programme within the Primary Schools.
  3. The School Sport Co-ordinators will allow Sport Development Officers more time to concentrate on strategic management as they can assist with operational duties.

The School Sport Co-ordinators will assist with the organisation and running of primary schools competitions and festivals, CSSA events and Inter / Intra School competitions to assist the Competition Development Officer.
