We joined the thousands on people across the UK on 26 September 2014 raising £1,590.42. The next event will be held on 25 September 2015.

Fashion for Food Exchange

A few time a year our staff donate food items to support food banks in the county borough. In exchange they are able to dress down for the day.

A number of food banks have been established throughout the Caerphilly county borough under the umbrella of a national organisation called the Trustle Trust, to collect and distribute food to families in need and crisis. Local food banks are in operation in Risca, Pontllanfraith and New Tredegar.

For further information about the charity please visit the Trussell Trust website.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) happens each year on 15 June

It is about all of us working together to bring greater recognition of the mistreatment of older adults wherever they live throughout the world and to highlight the need for appropriate action. Every year we support World Elder Abuse Awareness Day where staff carry out a range of activities and challenges to help raise money.
