Offers of accommodation

The UK government has published details of the national ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme.

This will offer a route to those who want to come to the UK who have someone here willing to provide them with a home. It will enable individuals, charities, community groups and businesses to volunteer accommodation and provide a route to safety for Ukrainians, and their immediate family members, forced to escape their homeland.

Sponsors should provide accommodation for as long as they are able, but we have a minimum expectation of 6 months.

If you would like to submit an expression of interest, you can register by using the link below.

Register your interest

Please contact the Council on this email address (Ukrainesupport@caerphilly.gov.uk) if you have registered your interest to host a family in Ukraine or if you have been matched with a family – the Council can provide information about services and financial support.

Sponsors who are interested in hosting a Ukrainian family, or individual, should find a match either independently, or through one of the many voluntary organisations and faith groups involved in the process. Some are based in Ukraine and some in the UK. The council cannot recommend one matching service over another. The UK Government has commissioned 'RESET Homes for Ukraine' to provide a matching service.
