More than 2,400 people turned out for the ever popular Bargoed Spring Fair on Saturday 8th April.

The town was filled with entertainment for the whole family to enjoy with colourful street entertainers, a full timetable of live music courtesy of RecRock and a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

Stallholders offered a range of delicious food items with homemade brownies from the Pudding Wagon and a variety of cheese and butters from Glastonbury Dairies to name but a few.
In addition to the on street entertainment St Gwladys Church Hall was filled with visitors taking part in games and enjoying the pop-up café.

David Whetter Interim Head of Service for Regeneration commented, “The Bargoed Spring Fair is a fantastic and well attended annual event. Visitors embraced the event and took part in themed activities and games throughout the day. It was also a great opportunity for businesses and traders to sell their unique food and craft products.”
