KLA receive congratulations at Full Council
Cllr Michael Adams, Mayor of Caerphilly County Borough Council with girls; Clara, Ariella, Ava, Izzie, Nellie, Halle-Mai, Emily and Hannah.

Caerphilly County Borough Council were delighted to welcome KLA Dance to Full Council. Cllr Michael Adams, Mayor of Caerphilly County Borough Council congratulated the local girls on their recent success on BBC’s The Greatest Dancer.

Amy Booth, the girls’ trainer said “It was the best experience we could ever imagine and the memories we made will last forever. We were extremely lucky and truly grateful for all the support the girls and KLA as a school had.”

KLA are a Latin Formation group formed of eight girls aged between 9 and 11. They managed to dance their way into the finals and placed within the top 3 of February’s live challenge shows.

Cllr Michael Adams, Mayor of Caerphilly County Borough Council said “It was my pleasure to congratulate KLA. We are very proud and lucky to have such a great group of local girls representing the borough.”

Cabinet Member, Cllr Nigel George also attended Full Council and added “These girls are a force to reckoned with on the national dance stage. I’m glad they were able to attend Full Council so that we were able to demonstrate just how proud we are of them.”
