Residents have until Friday 21st September to have their say on the future of sport and active recreation in Caerphilly county borough.

A number of drop in sessions have been held in communities across Caerphilly county borough in recent weeks, with more being held between now and the end of the public consultation.

The remaining sessions are being held on:

  • Friday 24th August – 5pm-7pm – White Rose Learning and Resource Centre, New Tredegar
  • Wednesday 29th August – 4pm-6pm – Nelson Library
  • Saturday 1st September – 10am-12noon – Centre for Sporting Excellence, Ystrad Mynach
  • Tuesday 4th September – 4pm-6pm – Blackwood Library
  • Thursday 13th September – 10am-12noon – Tabernacle Church, Newbridge

During the sessions, council officers will be available to discuss the council’s draft Sport and Active Recreation Strategy.

Those residents who are unable to attend one of the drop in sessions can also have their say by completing an online version of the consultation.
