Young artist makes debut in Caerphilly’s Winding House
A new art exhibition is now open in New Tredegar’s Winding House.

Hannah Newell, 23, has dedicated three years of her life to the exhibition “Around the World in Eighty Paintings” which is now open in Winding House, New Tredegar.

The exhibition includes striking acrylic pieces, inspired by the artists’ time in Malawi where she lived with her family for 12 years. Hannah explains: “I spent most of my childhood in Malawi and the memories of African sunshine and colourful patterns can be seen through my work.

“I had so much fun putting this (my first) exhibition together, I hope you enjoy it.”

This family friendly exhibition is open in the Winding House’s East Gallery between 11th January and 12th February 2022, Tuesday-Friday 10am - 4pm and Saturday 11am – 4pm. Originals are available to purchase, along with a broad selection of home décor objects reproducing some of the original pieces.
