Coronavirus - Free school meals update
During the period where schools are closed, the council will continue to provide a free school meal to all eligible pupils.

If your child is eligible for free school meals and wishes to receive this service please can you notify us if you haven’t already done so, by either emailing bridgesintowork@caerphilly.gov.uk or telephoning 01495 237921. This only relates to the provision from Monday 30 March when the frozen meal provision will start.  This will allow us to provide you with additional information in relation to this provision and will allow us to cater for additional dietary requirements that your child may have.

From Monday 23 March to Friday 27 March, the free meal will be a packed lunch, which will be required to be collected from designated schools. Please see pdf below for the full list:

This service will cease on the Friday 27 March and will be replaced on Monday 30 of March with a frozen meal provision. Further information on how the meals will be distributed will be published later this week on the Caerphilly County Borough Corporate website.

If your circumstances have changed we would encourage you to apply for free school meals via this link: https://bit.ly/33GxEBy or alternatively please contact us on 01443 864055.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us on 01495 237921.
