CCBC Operation Santa Appeal 2021
Posted on : 01 Nov 2021
Caerphilly County Borough Council’s annual Operation Santa Appeal is now open for donations.
There are over 600 children across the county borough who are at risk of not receiving a gift this Christmas and Operation Santa aims to provide presents to all those nominated by their social workers.
This year, our Operation Santa Appeal has had to adapt due to the ongoing pandemic. As a result, we are
unable to accept gift donations
and are asking that residents pledge a gift voucher or cash. Social Workers who are in direct contact with the families will then purchase the gifts and deliver them to the children in time for the big day.
To donate cash, you can do so via our donation page:

Cllr Shayne Cook, Cabinet Member for Social Care said, “Like last year, 2021 has been another difficult year for everyone, so we want to ensure that as many children as possible receive a special gift this Christmas. Operation Santa is such a worthy cause and is only made possible thanks to the generous donations from residents and businesses.
“On behalf of Santa and Caerphilly County Borough Council, I would like to thank everyone who participates in the appeal for your continued support and I know that Operation Santa 2021 will be just as successful as previous years.”
Anyone wishing to make a pledge can email
