COVID-19: CCBC cemeteries open:
All council owned cemeteries re-opened at 8am on Saturday 25 April.
Please ensure you are mindful of the social distancing rules and to observe them when visiting loved ones who have passed. As routine maintenance has not been undertaken since the lockdown, please be mindful that the cemeteries are not of the highest standard that we normally provide and maintenance works will soon re-commence to achieve this once again.
There are 10 cemeteries in Caerphilly county borough. Each cemeteries is open 7 days a week at the following times:
- 1 April to 30 September, Monday to Friday 8am to 7.30pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7.30pm
- 1 October to 31 March, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm
- Cemeteries are open as normal over the Christmas and New Year period
