‘The guide refers to the Charter of the Bereaved. The charter was developed in 1996 by the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) in response to criticism around modern funeral practices and in order to make improvements. The Charter identifies 33 rights some of which are mentioned in our guide above.
