How to apply

If you think your property might be eligible for a home repair grant you can apply online.

Alternatively, you can contact Private Sector Housing.

Following your enquiry, you will be asked to complete and return a 'means test' form (which is a test of financial resources) to see if you’re eligible. If you are eligible, an Environmental Health Officer will visit your home and decide whether it would qualify for a grant of this kind.

You will be contacted in writing to confirm the decision of the officer within several days of this visit, however, it is usual that the officer will advise you verbally at the time whether the application is likely to be successful or not.
