Parking - country parks

If you park in any of the country parks you will need to purchase a pay and display ticket. Drivers are advised to ensure they have enough change for their pay and display ticket before parking and to ensure their vehicle is parked wholly within the parking place markings, where they are clearly marked.

All charges apply Monday to Sunday and Bank Holidays from 7 am to 7 pm.

Up to 2 hours £1.00
Daily £3.00
Annual Season Ticket £50.00
Half Season Ticket £25.00

Disabled badge holders are required to pay but may park for 1 additional hour after expiry time shown on ticket.

If a vehicle is left unattended, with no obvious signs of a parking ticket having been purchased or displayed on the windscreen, or if the ticket is showing as being after its expiry time, the vehicle may be issued with a Excess Charge Notice.

Season tickets

The season ticket covers parking at all country parks and also covers parking at Cwmcarn Forest Drive.

Annual Season Ticket £50.00
Half Season Ticket £25.00

How to apply for a season ticket

You will  be required to fill in an application form and pay the appropriate amount.

Season tickets are currently available at Planning Division, Tredomen House, Tredomen Park, Hengoed, CF82 7WF.

Alternatively, you can download the application form here or application forms and payment can be taken at Cwmcarn Forest and Parc Cwm Darran Visitor Centre (during the summer months). You will be provided with a temporary ticket and will receive your season ticket through the post.

How do I pay for a season ticket?

Send a cheque made payable to 'Caerphilly County Borough Council' to Planning Division, Tredomen House, Tredomen Park, Hengoed, Ystrad Mynach CF82 7WF (along with your application form). Please do not send cash through the post.
