Rights of way charges and fees

Most of the work we carry out is done so free of charge.

However, there are some aspects of our work that does incur a fee.  Such costs cover advertising in the press as required by legislation to cover the making of certain Orders.

If you have concerns relating to costs which may be incurred because of a process you wish to carry out, please contact us to discuss this beforehand.

Traffic Regulation Orders (or temporary closures) are carried out by the Council’s Traffic Management Team. These are a set cost of £1,500.00 (excluding VAT) per Order.
