A472 through Hafodyrynys roadworks - Sunday 6th June**

The A472 through Hafodyrynys will be closed between 7am and midday and 6pm and 6am for resurfacing works on Sunday 6th June.
First closure
Road closed from 7am until 12 noon to apply the chippings to the road.
The road will then be reopened until 6pm to traffic to allow the chippings to bed in before the second application is completed.
A 10mph speed limit and skid risk signs will be in place. Convoy working will be put in place if motorists do not drive to the speed limit to stop damage to the road.
Second closure
Road closed again at 6pm to allow sweep, second application, locking spray and road markings. Road reopened when work completed and before 6am on Monday 7th.
Diversion is via the Heads of the Valleys Road and A4065, local routes are still available.
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the works at all times.
Please note access to Hafodyrynys via Pantside will also be closed, due to the nature of the works, and the safety of workforce and public.
