Ceremonies at Penallta House
We have two rooms at Penallta House where we can perform marriages or civil partnerships, Craig Penallta and the Statutory Register Office.
Craig Penallta
The room is located on the ground floor level and has complete access for pushchairs and people with disabilities.
The ceremony room is furnished to a very high standard, making it an ideal venue for your ceremony.
Statutory Register Office
This room is a small but attractive room in which couples may marry or form a civil partnership in the presence of two witnesses.
Charges for ceremonies
In addition to the costs of giving notice, there is also a charge for ceremonies to be held at Penallta House. For the latest fees visit the charges and fees for marriages and civil partnerships webpage.
Personalising your ceremony
You can tailor the ceremony to suit your individual wishes. You may wish to include a reading, or piece of poetry or you may like to add your own personal vows and commitments to each other.
Craig Penallta has a central aisle giving you the option to enter to a traditional or favourite piece of music. It is also possible to add a formal exit following the ceremony, again to traditional music or something special to the couple. You may choose music from lists we provide or you can provide your own.
Any enhancements must not have any religious content, and will need to be approved by our registrars prior to the day.
Please visit our page “Your day, your way” for further information.
Recordings and photographs
Plenty of opportunities will be available for photographs both during and after the ceremony. There are areas in and around the vicinity of the ceremony room for photographs with a lovely woodland garden area to the rear of Penallta House.
Filming of the ceremony is also permitted.
