Nurture Equip & Thrive (NET)
NET aims to increase the ownership of generic, transferable skills across the workforce through community based provision. Helping to improve the opportunities for low skilled workers to sustain employment and increase their earning potential.
NET specifically targets underemployed participants.
Where is it available?
The project is available through Torfaen County Borough Council (Lead Sponsor), Caerphilly County Borough Council, Blaenau Gwent Aneurin Leisure Trust, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Bridgend Coutny Borough Council.
Who is it for?
It is available to all residents of the Caerphilly County Borough Council region who are employed or self-employed and aged 16 years and over.
What can it offer you?
A support programme to ensure your success in securing more sustainable employment, additional employment, alternative employment or a post more suitable to your skills and qusalifications.
Why is the scheme important?
The current economic situation in the UK is making finding sustainable employment much tougher. NET is working across the Caerphilly borough to help people increase their in work opportunities and reduce underemployment.
The project partners are planning to use this round of European money to help make a real difference for people in the region.
