Pay your council tax bill
There are several different methods of payment you can use:
Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. This can be arranged over the telephone without having to fill in a form. Call us on 01443 863006 Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4pm. You will need your bank account number, branch sort code and bank address to hand.
Alternatively, there is a form you can print off, fill in and return to us. Payment can be arranged on the 5th, 15th or 25th of each month.

Online
Paying online is easy and secure. The cards we accept are Maestro UK, MasterCard Debit, Visa Debit (Delta, Electron), Visa Credit and MasterCard Credit.

By phone
You can pay by over the phone 24 hours a day using any of the cards listed above using our automated payment line on 01443 863366.
You will need to have your council tax account no. ready and know the amount you wish to pay. If you don't know your council tax account number, please contact us.
In Person
Please note that payments for council tax are no longer accepted at Customer Services Offices.
Post Office
You can also pay at the post office. Click here for details of how to apply for a post office card.
By post
Payments must be by crossed cheque or postal order made payable to ‘Caerphilly County Borough Council’ (post dated cheques are not acceptable). Please send your payment together with your payment card to:
The Cash Office, Penallta House, Tredomen Park, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, CF82 7PG.
Please write your council tax account number on the back of your cheque or postal order. Your payment card will be returned to you by post.
Please do not send cash in the post.
