Respite sitting service providers

Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) are the regulators for social care and Social Services in Wales and aim to provide independent assurances about the quality and availability of Social Care in Wales. A directory of social care services registered with CIW can be found on the CIW website.

Caerphilly County Borough Council works with the organisations below to provide a high quality, home-based respite service, which aims to meet the individual needs of carers whose quality of life is affected in carrying out this role. This service is intended to provide a specialist respite service for carers, to enable them to have time for themselves and help relieve stress often felt by providing practical support. This will be achieved by the organisations taking over the role of carer for a period of time, enabling the carer to take some time for themselves.

The latest inspection reports are provided where available.

Reports can be viewed by following the links underneath the provider's details.

  • Monitoring reports relate to routine visits conducted by the Contract Monitoring Section within Adult Services. A glossary of terms is available for your information
  • Provider Performance visits are conducted where there are escalating concerns about a provider and therefore require more regular monitoring.
