Blackwood Basement
Blackwood Basement is an information drop-in centre (situated underneath Blackwood Library).
Blackwood Basement is an information centre providing all young people aged between 11 and 25 years, Caerphilly Youth Service and partner agencies with access to information, support and advocacy.
Blackwood Basement can be accessed by just dropping in, by self-referral and by agency referral.
We are open:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays 12pm to 8pm
- Fridays 10am to 5pm
(Please note that as we work throughout the Borough opening times may sometimes be affected, please contact 07876 358034)
We also offer specific LGBTQ+ group support
- Monday 5.30pm – 8.00pm – Basement
- Every other Tuesday at Bargoed Library 3.30pm – 6.00pm and every other Wednesday at Caerphilly Library 3.30 pm – 6.00pm
- Last Saturday of the month 12.00pm – 3.00pm – Basement
