We are committed to doing all we can to respect the diverse nature of those who live in, work in and visit the county borough.

There is a wide range of legislation and employment regulations we have to consider when making decisions. In Wales, the two most important pieces of legislation are the Equality Act 2010 (Statutory Duties) (Wales) Regulations 2011 and the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011. There are also strong links with Hate Crime and Incidents work under the Community Cohesion banner.
